Rules for Playing Tongits Go at bdgel
Card Deal
At the start of the game, each player receives 12 cards. The remaining cards form a stack in the deck, and one card is turned face up — this is the discard pile.
Forming Sets and Runs
Three cards of the same value form a "set" and three or more consecutive cards of the same suit form a "run". The more melds you create, the fewer points you will have.
Draw and Discard
On each turn, draw one card from the stack or take one from the discard pile, then discard a card. Be strategic — do not help your opponent.
Call Tongits
If you have no cards left in your hand, call "Tongits" and take an instant win. Or use the "Sapaw" challenge to block your opponent's opportunity.
Score Count
At the end of the game, the total points of unmelded cards are counted. The player with the fewest points wins. At bdgel, the entire calculation is done automatically.

Winning Strategies for Tongits Go
Keep these strategies in mind when playing Tongits Go at bdgel to improve your chances of winning
Form melds early
Create melds (sets or runs) as quickly as possible at the start of the game. This reduces the points in your hand and limits your losses if your opponent calls "Sapaw".
Watch your opponent's discards
Pay attention to which cards your opponent is discarding. This helps you understand their likely melds and avoid discarding cards that could be useful to them.
Discard high-point cards first
If a card does not fit into any meld, discard high-point cards (10, Jack, Queen, King) first. That way, even if the game ends suddenly, your point count will be lower.
Call "Sapaw" at the right moment
If you think your opponent is about to call "Tongits", issue the "Sapaw" challenge. However, you should not take this risk if your own hand is not strong.
